Why hello! It has been a hot minute and I am so happy to be back! Thank you for your patience as I took a few breaths during a transition to a new role. As much as I wish I could do this full-time, a girl’s gotta eat… For those of you who don’t know, I (Amanda) run the entire Director’s Collective on my own. Most of the work I do is done after my three young kids go to bed, or squeezed in between a soccer practice and piano lessons. I love creating, sharing, and connecting, and have had so much fun building this space.
I am not going anywhere, but I did need a few weeks to re-calibrate and figure out the best way to serve my hundreds of supporters, while not burning out or missing time with my family. I always write about how important it is for us to set boundaries and be okay saying “no”, so what kind of coach would I be if I didn’t take my own advice??
While I am now feeling settled and ready to dedicate more time to this space again, I would be very appreciative to hear from you because, this space is for you. I create resources and materials that I find helpful, but want to be sure I am using my time in the best way possible, to make your life easier.
So today, I have just one ask for you.
Could you please click on the link and share your feedback to help me make this space even better? What do you love? What is missing? It should only take a couple minutes and I so appreciate it.
In the meantime, all of my content will be available to EVERYONE! At least for the next couple months until you get totally hooked and wonder how you ever lived without the collective and my snarky emails 🙃
And to my amazing paid subscribers, I have already paused subscription billing so you won’t be charged until I am at 100%. I can’t thank you enough for your support. Your belief in my work is the reason I have been able to come this far and you will be the first to hear of any proposed changes.
Please keep your eye’s peeled as April’s Monthly Resource Toolkit will be dropping in the next hour! I particularly liked putting together the April Fool’s Day jokes for you to play on your staff, complete with a fake “diaper wipe accountability” policy. Not to mention plans for the fun community book exchange (for kids AND adults) or printable Earth Day signage and celebration ideas.
Thank you for being here. Happy Monday!
