This month I am challenging my subscribers to set one meaningful personal improvement goal for the upcoming month. For myself, I decided to read a book on leadership and chose the highly recommended book, Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts. by Brené Brown. This book is a refreshing take on leadership that focuses on being real and relatable rather than just authoritative. Brown, a renowned researcher and storyteller, dives into how being vulnerable can actually make us stronger leaders.
In this book, Brené breaks down what it means to lead with courage. She shares practical tips for creating a supportive environment where everyone feels safe to share their thoughts and ideas, something we all strive to attain as leaders in early childhood education. So if you are looking to make yourself a better leader, I would love for you to join me as I explore how to lead with authenticity and empathy.
